Nonghyup Distribution and Nonghyup Hanaro Distribution, which operate Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, announced on the 23rd that they will sell onions, carrots, and Cheongyang chili peppers, whose prices have surged, at up to 50% discounted prices for three days from the 24th to the 26th.

Farmers are facing difficulties in production due to abnormal weather and a sharp decline in harvest volume, and consumers are burdened by the rapid increase in product prices. Nonghyup Hanaro Mart will sell onions (3kg/net) at 4,384 won, Cheongyang chili peppers (150g/bag) at 1,184 won, and washed carrots (1kg/bag) at 3,480 won at discounted prices from the 24th to the 26th. The sale prices are based on Hanaro Mart members and include the application of discount coupons.

To support self-employed business owners struggling with soaring ingredient prices, Nonghyup Hanaro Mart's food ingredient stores will also offer discounts on these three items for three days from the 24th to the 26th.

The special agricultural product discount event will be held at 63 Nonghyup Hanaro Mart stores, and the quantities of the specially discounted agricultural products are limited.

Models are introducing onions, carrots, and Cheongyang peppers on sale from the 24th to the 26th at the Nonghyup Hanaro Mart Yangjae branch in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
