Ulleung-gun Holds Inauguration Ceremony for Youth Participation and Management Committee

On the 22nd, Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk held the inauguration ceremony for the Youth Participation Committee and the Steering Committee at Hanmaeum Hall.

At the inauguration ceremony, 28 elementary, middle, and high school students from the area, along with the Director of the Resident Welfare Division and youth instructors, participated. The Ulleung-gun governor personally presented appointment letters and conducted a meeting, orientation, and the 1st regular meeting.

Students from elementary, middle, and high schools within Ulleung County and Nam Han-kwon, the county governor, are taking a commemorative photo at the Youth Participation and Steering Committee inauguration ceremony.

The Youth Participation Committee is an organization that enables youth to actively participate in the establishment and implementation of local government youth policies and projects, thereby enhancing policy effectiveness and promoting youth rights.

Additionally, the Youth Steering Committee is an organization that expands youth engagement by allowing direct participation in advising and evaluating the operation of youth training facilities and various programs.

Governor Nam Han-kwon stated, “We will carefully review the tasks proposed by the youth committee members and strive to actively reflect them in policies.”
