Jeonnam Yeongam-gun Comprehensive Social Welfare Center announced on the 23rd that it has been providing free meals to disabled individuals using the welfare center's programs since the 20th.

Disabled individuals using the meal service expressed great enthusiasm upon hearing the news that face-to-face meals, which had been replaced by lunch boxes due to COVID-19, have resumed, saying, "We missed the time when we could all eat together facing each other," and "We are very grateful to be able to eat warm meals for free."

In particular, this year, the interior of the meal service area was remodeled and a group meal facility was installed to enable safe and hygienic meal provision through cleaner and more efficient kitchen operations. Additionally, a volunteer team composed of disability activity support workers was organized into groups of three to assist disabled individuals with physical difficulties in meal distribution.

A welfare center official stated, "We will pay extra attention to ensure there are no inconveniences in using the meal service and will strive even harder to provide high-quality meals that are nutritious and hygienic, with the care as if serving our own family."
