According to Yonhap News on the 23rd, another poster criticizing school violence involving the son of lawyer Jeong Sun-shin has appeared at Seoul National University.

The author identified themselves as a business student from the 22nd class of Minjok Leadership Academy, which Jeong's son attended.

Jeong's son was subjected to disciplinary action for verbally abusing a classmate for eight months while attending Minjok Leadership Academy, resulting in a forced transfer in 2018. The following year, he transferred to Banpo High School in Seoul. Later, in 2020, he was admitted to Seoul National University through regular admission.

The author wrote, "When the issue between you and that friend came to light, I could not believe it."

They continued, "The friend who suffered from the cruel behavior was driven to the point of attempting an extreme choice mentally, and even after the incident was initially resolved, he kept crying out that terrible things kept coming to mind at school, eventually leaving school and becoming unreachable."

They added, "In the end, you stalled by quarreling with the school under the pretext of protecting your own future and did not even admit your wrongdoing to avoid taking responsibility. The brothers I lost were not just one but two. The friend I cherished and loved like a real brother became a monster who stabbed another brother in the back for his own future."

He concluded, "Realize the weight of your sin now and bear it again... Please live your whole life in regret."

This is about a month since the last poster criticizing Jeong's son was posted at Seoul National University on the 27th of last month.

At that time, the author, who identified as a student from the College of Human Ecology, class of 2022, claimed, "Jeong Sun-shin's son fully deserves to be listed among the shameful alumni along with Yoon Seok-yeol and Jeong Sun-shin," and demanded the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol, who appointed Jeong as the head of the National Investigation Headquarters.

Meanwhile, on the 8th, Seoul National University's campus newspaper, 'The University Newspaper,' also published a cartoon related to the recent school violence controversy.

The cartoon titled "The Glory Sha" appeared on page 15 of issue number 2064, published on March 6.

"The Glory" is a Netflix original drama starring Song Hye-kyo centered on school violence, and "Sha" is a nickname for Seoul National University derived from the sculpture at the main gate (which combines the Korean initials for "National Seoul University," 'ㄱㅅㄷ').

The cartoon depicted lawyer Jeong with his arm around his son, who is entering Seoul National University. Behind them, a man resembling President Yoon Seok-yeol is clapping. There is also an image of a judge holding a tilted scale. In the background, a figure is clapping and shouting, "Cool, Sun-shin."

This is a parody of scenes and lines from "The Glory." In the drama, the protagonist Moon Dong-eun (played by Song Hye-kyo), a victim of school violence, watches the moment when the perpetrator Park Yeon-jin (played by Lim Ji-yeon) receives the "Proud Alumni Award" and shouts, "Cool, Yeon-jin." This ironic scene and line have inspired numerous parodies and memes.
