LIG Donates 50 Million Won to Medically Underserved Groups Again This Year... Supports Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital

LIG donated 50 million KRW to Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital.


This donation will be used to help medically vulnerable groups. The donation ceremony was held on the 22nd at Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital.


LIG has been continuing its donation project to support medically vulnerable groups for three years since 2021, and the total amount donated so far has reached 150 million KRW. This donation is intended to reduce the medical expenses burden for medically vulnerable groups and to partially support the medical costs of patients receiving treatment.

Supports Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital On the 22nd, at Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital, LIG Chairman Koo Bon-sang (from the left), LIG Co., Ltd. CEO Choi Yong-jun, Hospital Director Lee Jung-jae, and Dong Eun Academy Foundation Chairman Seo Gyo-il held a donation ceremony.

The group stated, “We are committed to continuing support activities for medically vulnerable groups, contributing to society as a member of the local community, and fulfilling our role as a ‘corporate citizen.’”


Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital plans to use this donation to support treatment costs for medically vulnerable groups in the Seoul area and to operate various programs such as preventive care and health checkups.


The Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital said, “We plan to use this donation precisely for medical projects that will help medically vulnerable groups, reflecting LIG’s commitment to social responsibility.”


LIG is engaged in various social contribution activities. In addition to supporting medically vulnerable groups, it also supports low-income national veterans, sponsors the Korea Disabled Football Association, and supports youth preparing for independence. Its affiliates, including LIG Nex1, Innowireless, LIG System, and Huseco, are also actively running social contribution programs.


They have also developed and operate various social contribution programs reflecting the characteristics of their business. Recently, LIG Co., Ltd., along with affiliates such as LIG Nex1 and their employees, donated 255 million KRW in relief funds for earthquake damage to World Vision.
