On the 23rd, E1 announced that it will introduce Apple Pay payment services at LPG filling stations nationwide.
Apple Pay, a simple payment service recently launched in Korea, features the ability to make payments simply by holding an iPhone near a card terminal. Customers using E1 filling stations can pay through the iPhone NFC (Near Field Communication) terminal without the need for a physical card or cash after refilling LPG.
An E1 official stated, "To ensure payment convenience at filling stations, we have distributed next-generation wireless explosion-proof terminals nationwide, providing simple payment services such as OK Pay, Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, and Zero Pay," adding, "We will continue to lead filling station services and strive to make it convenient for customers to use our stations."
