In this collection, designer Lee Sangbong combined the works of Austrian Symbolist painter Gustav Klimt with fashion. Among Klimt's works housed at the Belvedere Museum in Vienna, Austria, the well-known piece 'The Kiss' is featured in a project that harmonizes it with a fashion designer's work for the first time worldwide.
The pop-up store will also feature 'Ch?teauneuf-du-Pape,' known as the 'Pope's wine.' This wine, produced in the Avignon region, bears the papal emblem, and especially Ch?teauneuf-du-Pape, meaning 'Pope's wine' in French, is exclusively imported and sold in Korea by the wine importer Stella, boasting worldwide fame among enthusiasts.
Along with the wine, various fabric products inspired by the 'Lee Sangbong × Klimt Collection' will be offered, including T-shirts, scarves, and wine packages in the form of bojagi (traditional Korean wrapping cloth).
Part of the sales proceeds from the pop-up store will be donated to support earthquake relief efforts in T?rkiye through Doctors Without Borders. To commemorate the opening of the pop-up store, a signing event with designer Lee Sangbong will be held on the 25th at 2 p.m.
