[Tomorrow's Weather] 'Spring Rain' Nationwide... Daytime Highs Up to 23°C

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] On Thursday the 23rd, with a warm daytime high of 23 degrees Celsius, spring rain will fall nationwide and mostly stop by the afternoon.


Expected rainfall amounts are 10-50mm for Jeju and the Gyeongsang coastal areas, 5-30mm for Chungcheong, southern regions (excluding Gyeongsang coast), southern Gangwon, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, and around 5mm for southern Gyeonggi, the West Sea 5 islands, Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and central and northern Gangwon.

As the rain falls, dry weather warnings are expected to be lifted in some areas.


Tomorrow morning's low temperatures are forecast to be between 9 and 15 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs ranging from 13 to 23 degrees Celsius.


Expected low temperatures in major cities are ▲Seoul 13°C ▲Incheon 11°C ▲Chuncheon 11°C ▲Gangneung 13°C ▲Daejeon 13°C ▲Daegu 13°C ▲Jeonju 14°C ▲Gwangju 15°C ▲Busan 15°C ▲Jeju 14°C.


Daytime highs are expected to be ▲Seoul 21°C ▲Incheon 18°C ▲Chuncheon 19°C ▲Gangneung 15°C ▲Daejeon 17°C ▲Daegu 18°C ▲Jeonju 17°C ▲Gwangju 16°C ▲Busan 18°C ▲Jeju 17°C.


Fine dust levels are forecast as 'very bad' in Incheon and northern Gyeonggi, 'bad' in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, Chungcheong, Gwangju, and Jeonbuk, and 'normal' in other regions. In the metropolitan area, Chungnam, and Jeonbuk, levels will temporarily reach 'very bad' in the afternoon, and in Yeongdong region of Gangwon and Jeonnam, levels will be 'bad' from night.


Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are expected in the seas around Jeju Island and the southern sea. Sea fog will be dense in some areas across all seas until tomorrow.


Wave heights in the near seas are expected to be 0.5-3.0m in the East Sea, 0.5-2.5m in the West Sea, and 0.5-2.0m in the South Sea.


Wave heights in the outer seas (about 200 km from the coastline) will be 0.5-3.5m in the East Sea, 1.0-3.5m in the West Sea, and 0.5-4.0m in the South Sea.
