Seohaean Funeral Hall, located in Yeonsan-dong, Mokpo City, opened in 2013 and is now in its 11th year of establishment. It leads the practice of a healthy funeral culture as the final resting place for the peaceful repose of the deceased.

It has also been continuously dedicated to serving socially vulnerable groups, including providing scholarships for underprivileged students in the region and supporting low-income elderly people.

CEO Park Dae-won said, “I have a special affection and interest in local students, which led me to donate the scholarship fund. I will continue to contribute to the development of the local community, including nurturing talent.”

Chairman Park Hong-ryul expressed gratitude, saying, “Despite the difficult economic conditions such as rising interest rates and inflation, I thank CEO Park Dae-won for generously donating the scholarship fund. The foundation will do its best to help scholarship recipients focus on their studies.”

Meanwhile, the Mokpo Talent Development Foundation changed its name from the Mokpo Scholarship Foundation through a regular board meeting. Going forward, it plans to actively engage in nurturing talent fitting its new name and support the local promising youth.
