Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk Province, announced on the 22nd that it was finally selected for the 'Win-Win Labor-Management Regional Job Consulting Support Project' recently announced by the Labor-Management Development Foundation under the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
Securing a consulting budget of 150 million KRW, this project supports consulting in various fields such as job conditions and sustainable employment to discover a win-win labor-management job model suitable for local circumstances.
The county was finally selected in recognition of its active efforts, such as establishing a business plan to overcome regional crises by discovering a sustainable and stable win-win job model using ESG industries.
Starting next month, the project will proceed in the order of discovering win-win labor-management factors → job model development consulting → public discussion → win-win agreement (labor-management-government) → preparation of job model implementation plans, aiming to derive a cooperative win-win agreement in collaboration with the consortium institution (Korea Conflict Transformation Center, represented by Park Ji-ho).
Lee Young-yoon, the county's New Vitality Economic Policy Officer, said, “We have established a foundation for coexistence among the county community and key stakeholders such as labor, management, and government,” adding, “We will do our best to create quality jobs by discovering a win-win job model suitable for local circumstances.”
