EDGC (Eone Diagnomics Genome Center) is achieving concrete results in overseas markets.
The genome analysis precision medicine specialist EDGC announced on the 22nd that it has signed more than 30 new overseas partnerships in the past four months.
EDGC officially entered the overseas market after recruiting Sam Martin as the Executive Director of Overseas Business Development in September last year. Led by Executive Director Sam Martin, the company expanded into European countries including Germany and Greece, as well as Latin American regions including Chile and Paraguay, and Japan.
It also achieved results in existing regions such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia. New partnerships were signed with companies in the Middle East including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Palestine, as well as Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam and the Philippines.
The services for which EDGC recently signed overseas partnerships include its existing core services such as OncoCatch, which enables early cancer screening, NICE for prenatal testing, and Bebegene for newborn screening, as well as many recently launched services.
Six new services were introduced, including Chromosome Microarray (CMA), which detects chromosomal abnormalities related to developmental delay, intellectual disability, and autism spectrum disorder, and Cancer Cardiology Screen, which identifies potential predispositions to cardiovascular diseases.
Sam Martin, Executive Director of Overseas Business Development, said, "By establishing new partnerships in various regions, we have officially entered the overseas market. We will drive corporate growth and create new business opportunities through our overseas market strategy."
EDGC CEO Minseop Lee explained, "The signing of various partnerships and the launch of new services are important milestones for our overseas expansion. We will lower the barriers to genetic testing and provide EDGC’s innovative solutions to many overseas customers."
