Online video service (OTT) TVING announced on the 22nd that actors Lee Som and Ahn Jae-hong have been cast in the new original series 'LTNS' (working title).
'LTNS' (written and directed by Lim Dae-hyung and Jeon Go-woon) is a comedy drama about a couple, whose relationship has grown distant due to the pressures of life, who resort to blackmailing an affair couple to make money, and in the process confront their already broken relationship. It is a comedy dealing with the reality of sexless couples, with stories of affair couples unfolding in an episodic format.
Lee Som and Ahn Jae-hong play a married couple in their fifth year of marriage with no home, children, or relationship. Lee Som takes on the role of Woo-jin, who, contrary to her goal-oriented and aggressive appearance, is emotionally vulnerable. Woo-jin, a hotelier enduring low wages at a 3-star hotel front desk, accidentally discovers a secret about a friend couple and receives an offer she cannot refuse.
Ahn Jae-hong portrays Samuel, who, unlike his gentle appearance, harbors latent anger. He graduated from a prestigious university and easily joined a large corporation but left the company due to mental health issues and became a taxi driver.
The screenplay and direction are a collaboration between director Lim Dae-hyung of the film 'Yoon-Hee' (2019) and director Jeon Go-woon of 'Microhabitat' (2018).
