CJ CheilJedang announced on the 22nd that it has launched five new products under its plant-based alternative milk brand, 'ALTIVE.'
ALTIVE is a plant-based alternative milk brand that originated from the ideas of MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) employees through CJ CheilJedang's in-house food venture program 'inno100.' The new products include two types of 'ALTIVE Original,' one 'ALTIVE Barista,' and two 'Vegan Coffee' varieties, offering a diverse range of types and sizes to meet customer needs. ALTIVE Original is a renewed version of 'ALTIVE Plant Milk,' first launched in June last year. It blends brown rice and pea protein to maintain the existing high-protein and high-calcium characteristics while adding domestically produced brown rice syrup to enhance the soft and natural taste preferred by consumers. For consumer convenience, it is available in two sizes: 190ml and 730ml.
ALTIVE Barista features a non-sweet, smooth taste and a creamy texture optimized for making lattes. It is ideal for enhancing the flavor when added to coffee or tea. ALTIVE Vegan Coffee is a vegan coffee beverage that delivers the sweet taste of a latte without milk fat, lactose, or sugar. ALTIVE products can be purchased online through CJ The Market, Naver Store, Gmarket, and other online malls, with plans to expand sales channels to offline discount stores and B2B cafes.
A CJ CheilJedang representative stated, "ALTIVE aims to be the optimal alternative in terms of taste, nutrition, and sustainability for every moment when milk is needed," adding, "We will continue to launch products that consider diverse consumer preferences to lead the growth of the alternative milk market."
