NS Home Shopping Supports Fire Safety Equipment for Fire-Vulnerable Groups in Seongnam City

Donation of 30 Million Won to Volunteer Center

NS Home Shopping announced on the 22nd that it held a fire safety equipment donation ceremony for fire-vulnerable groups in Seongnam City.

NS Home Shopping donated 30 million KRW to the Seongnam Volunteer Center. The entire donation will be used by the Seongnam Volunteer Center to purchase 1,875 spray-type fire extinguishers, which will be distributed to fire-vulnerable households such as people with disabilities, elderly living alone, and single-parent families within the jurisdiction of Bundang District Office.

Since 2017, NS Home Shopping has annually donated 30 million KRW to support basic fire safety facilities for fire-vulnerable groups in Seongnam City. The total accumulated donation amounts to 180 million KRW, which has been used to support the installation of fire extinguishers, fire detectors, and safe bags for early fire suppression in densely populated residential areas and welfare facilities in parts of Seongnam City where fire truck access is difficult.
