The China Central Meteorological Observatory issued yellow dust yellow warnings for 10 northern and eastern provinces and cities, including Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Beijing, and Tianjin.

The yellow dust warnings are divided into four levels: blue, yellow, orange, and red. The red warning indicates the most severe pollution. The meteorological observatory predicted that the impact of this yellow dust will be widespread, affecting most northern regions.

Chinese authorities stated, "Due to the poor air quality caused by the yellow dust, please wear masks properly."
