Digital integrated logistics solution company Logispot Co., Ltd. has been selected for the second consecutive year as one of the ‘Asia-Pacific High Growth Companies’ by the UK Financial Times.
With this, Logispot ranked 58th among the 500 companies selected for the ‘2023 Asia-Pacific High Growth Companies (FT High Growth Companies-Asia-Pacific 2023)’ jointly chosen by the UK economic magazine Financial Times and the global research firm Statista this year.
Now in its fifth year, the 'Asia-Pacific High Growth Companies' ranking is published annually by the Financial Times and Statista, surveying the top 500 companies with high growth rates among approximately 15,000 companies in 13 Asia-Pacific countries including Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, Australia, and Hong Kong. This ranking is based on companies with sales of at least $100,000 (about 130 million KRW) in 2018 and $1 million (about 1.3 billion KRW) in 2021, evaluated over four years on growth rate, business model, profitability, and other criteria.
Logispot recorded an absolute growth rate of 979.1% and a compound annual growth rate of 121.0%, ranking 58th in the Asia-Pacific region and 11th among domestic companies. In the category ranking (logistics sector), it ranked first across the Asia-Pacific region. Last year, it ranked 71st overall, demonstrating high growth potential by climbing thirteen places in the overall ranking within one year.
Jun-gyu Park, CEO of Logispot, said, “In the fragmented domestic logistics market where about 97% of companies have annual sales of less than approximately 400 million KRW, Logispot has led the digitalization of the industry and achieved rapid growth by securing more than 1,000 corporate customers.” He added, “Going forward, we will actively expand our one-stop 3PL services based on innovative technology and enter specialized logistics fields in new high-value-added industries that require advanced expertise, thereby expanding our leadership in the domestic logistics market.”
Since its establishment in 2016, Logispot has expanded its transportation and logistics center infrastructure nationwide by combining various transportation services including quick service with customized 3PL (third-party logistics) specialized services for storage, cargo handling, and import/export transportation through a digital platform. Additionally, by advancing its differentiated SaaS solutions such as the Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS), Logispot has continuously worked to innovate South Korea’s logistics industry, which has been heavily offline-focused, through IT-based technology, accelerating the digital transformation of the entire logistics process.
Meanwhile, besides being selected as an ‘Asia-Pacific High Growth Company,’ Logispot has been recognized for its growth and contribution to the domestic logistics industry by receiving awards such as the Korea Industry Award K-Service Award, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Commendation at the Korea Logistics Awards, the Special Award at the Korea ICT Innovation Awards, the Chairman’s Award of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation at the Smart Korea Awards, and the Logistics Person of the Year Award from the Korean Society of Logistics in the past two years.
