The Korea National Arboretum and Garden Management Agency (hereinafter referred to as Hansujeong) became the first public institution under the Korea Forest Service to receive the 'Excellent Labor-Management Relations Company' certification.
The certification is awarded by the Korea Management Registrar (KMR), which evaluates labor-management representative leadership, maturity of labor-management relations, and performance to recognize organizations that have established mutually beneficial and cooperative labor-management relationships.
Hansujeong received the certification in recognition of its efforts to build cooperative labor-management relations, including joint social contribution activities between labor and management, adoption of a joint declaration for restructuring the compensation system centered on job roles, and appointment of labor directors recommended by the labor union, following the establishment of the labor union in May last year.
Ryu Gwang-su, Director of Hansujeong, stated, “Hansujeong will continue to maintain a mutually beneficial and cooperative relationship with the labor union and strive to improve the working conditions of employees.”
