Tommy Fleetwood became the second player in history to surpass $15 million in total earnings on the PGA Tour without a win.
There are 129 players who have surpassed $15 million in career earnings on the PGA Tour, but Fleetwood’s record is unique. He has never won a PGA Tour event. He joined Cameron Tringale (USA) as the only players to exceed $15 million in career earnings without a victory. Tringale earned a total of $16,989,931. He moved to LIV Golf last year and can no longer compete on the PGA Tour.
Before the Valspar Championship, Fleetwood had participated in 112 PGA Tour events and finished in the top 10 twenty-six times, including four runner-up finishes and three third-place finishes. He also finished as runner-up in major tournaments, including the 2018 US Open and the 2019 The Open Championship.
Fleetwood is a strong competitor on the DP World Tour (formerly the European Tour), having won six times. He was named Player of the Year on the European Tour in 2017. His career earnings on the DP World Tour rank 10th with €24,155,564. Fleetwood said, "There are still many tournaments left to play," emphasizing, "My goal is not just to win once." He added confidently, "I will win multiple times," and "My prime, which has not yet come, will be very brilliant."
