'Counselor Jobs May Disappear'... SK-Naver Develop Customized AI for Call Centers

SK Inc. C&C and Naver Cloud join forces to develop a Korean-style ChatGPT.


On the 21st, SK Inc. C&C signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Naver Cloud to expand large-scale artificial intelligence (AI)-based business-to-business (B2B) services.


They collaborated to combine SK Inc. C&C’s IT service business experience with Naver Cloud’s HyperCLOVA X. HyperCLOVA X is a large-scale AI developed by Naver that allows clients to create application services by integrating their own data.


The two companies will discover customized AI service models for various financial sectors such as banking, securities, cards, insurance, and capital, focusing on call center automation. SK Inc. C&C’s AI data platforms, including AccuInsight Plus and the AI engine Accu.TA, will be integrated into financial systems. Combined with Naver Cloud’s HyperCLOVA X, they will develop a hybrid large-scale AI B2B service. In this structure, the AI data platform handles specialized responses, while the large-scale AI supports friendly explanations tailored to the questioner’s level.

Additionally, they will jointly develop no-code and low-code solutions based on large-scale AI. The AI using natural language technology will indirectly support generating development code suited to the development situation by linking with existing development solutions.


To this end, a joint task force (TF) will be formed. The goal is to find the optimal combination applicable to actual system development projects. A support system covering consulting, construction, and operation will be established to apply large-scale AI according to the needs of customers in various industries.


SK Inc. C&C also established the ‘ChatGPT Biz Development TF’ organization to support customers’ AI-based work improvements. The aim is to help customers directly utilize large-scale AI tailored to their work environments and provide services that enhance work support levels through AI.


Kim Yoo-won, CEO of Naver Cloud, said, “HyperCLOVA X enables the construction of large-scale AI products optimized for specific services or companies by combining even small amounts of customer-owned data,” adding, “We will actively support the AI transformation of domestic companies through close collaboration with SK Inc. C&C.”


Yoon Poong-young, President of SK Inc. C&C, stated, “Starting with finance, we will actively discover, develop, and expand large-scale AI services across the public and enterprise sectors,” and added, “We will provide always accurate and cost-effective large-scale AI systems and services customized to all customer business sites.”
