Operating under the theme of 'Personality Changes Destiny'
Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will hold the 106th Community Autonomy University for Hamyang Residents, a free cultural lecture for residents, on the 29th from 3 PM to 5 PM at the Small Theater of the Culture and Arts Center to welcome the new spring.
For this Community Autonomy University, popular actress Kim Sumi, who is very familiar to us as the daily mother in the longest-running TV program "Jeonwon Ilgi" aired on MBC for over 20 years, will be invited to give a lecture under the theme "Personality Changes Fate."
Ms. Kim completed graduate studies at Korea University Graduate School of Communication and is currently active as an all-around entertainer, working across various media including films, TV, and musicals.
She has received the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 32nd Blue Dragon Film Awards and the Best Comedy Acting Award at the Film Acting Awards. She has also published several books, including "Sumi's Side Dishes," which is based on the tvN cooking program "Sumi's Side Dishes" that introduced mom-style meals, and "I Won't Say What I Miss."
Furthermore, with her hearty storytelling, she will share the time she spent nurturing childhood dreams, the joys and sorrows experienced over more than 50 years since her debut in the entertainment industry, and her ongoing efforts to fill her life with hope. She will deliver a powerful message that "Personality Changes Fate," which has been a source of strength to overcome setbacks.
