Kim Jong-wook, Commissioner of the Korea Coast Guard, visited the Sacheon Coast Guard Station in Gyeongnam on the 20th.
According to Sacheon Coast Guard, Commissioner Kim presented commendations to three employees for their outstanding service in the main conference room of the Sacheon Coast Guard Station and listened to the frontline staff about the difficulties and suggestions from the field.

Commissioner Kim ordered preparations for accident risks during the Nongmu (濃霧) period, a time from March to July each year when thick fog covers the sea.
“Proactively identify risk factors for maritime safety accidents during the Nongmu period and respond actively,” he said. “Always be faithful to the basics and strive to become a strong Coast Guard on the ground.”
