Voice Caddie Launches World's First GPS-Laser Hybrid Distance Meter

Application of GPS Pin Assist Technology... Outstanding Accuracy

Golf distance measuring device brand Voice Caddie announced on the 20th that it has launched the world's first 'SL3' equipped with fused GPS and laser technology.

The SL3 is the world's first GPS pin assist technology that combines GPS and laser, allowing precise measurement of the distance to the pin. Using the Pin Tracer mode, it guides the distance to the pin without error even with slight hand tremors. Additionally, it corrects the distance using the 'V-Algorithm,' a calculation method based on over 10 years of accumulated customer data and statistical data from tour professionals. The use of red and green organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) enables clear target measurement.

The SL3 is a model used by many players belonging to the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) in the United States. Recently, it was recognized for its performance by being named the best laser distance meter by the UK’s Golf Monthly and the BEST golf distance meter selected by the US’s MyGolfSpy. Another feature is its ability to accurately measure distances even on foggy or cloudy days. Existing laser distance meters had the drawback of reduced accuracy on foggy days. To overcome this, the SL3 applies GPS technology, allowing users to check the exact distance on the liquid crystal display (LCD) located at the bottom of the viewfinder.

The design was also carefully considered. It is externally designed to be sturdy by applying a luxurious leather texture preferred by golfers and a glossy polished metal design.
