The Changwon National University 2023 Spring Semester New Faculty Workshop was held on the 17th.
According to the university on the 20th, the workshop was organized to support the stable adaptation of new faculty members and to strengthen their capabilities.
On this day, 12 new faculty members attended, including Professor Park Seong-hye and Professor Kim Ju-won from the Department of French Language and Literature, Professor Son Seong-wook from the Department of History, Professor Seong Hye-yeon from the Department of Social Welfare, Professors Lee Jeong-wook and Kim Ho-seong from the Department of Mathematics, Professor Park Jun-seong from the Department of Physical Education, Professor Ryu So-im from the Department of Nursing, Professor Lee Ju-yong from the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering, Professor Choi Won-jung from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Professor Shim Hyun-seok from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Professor Lee In-hwan from the Department of Anti-Aging Healthcare.

The workshop, held in the university headquarters' 2nd-floor main conference room and across the campus, included ▲briefings on the Admissions Office, Educational Innovation Office, and Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation ▲a meeting with the president and executive officers ▲guidance on the R&D Innovation Office, Planning Office, Academic Affairs Division, and Academic Support Division ▲on-site tours of major campus facilities and introductions to support programs.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Eo Yun said, “Our university conducts substantial workshops to enhance new faculty members' adaptation to the school and to strengthen their multifaceted capabilities in education, research, and student guidance. In response to the declining school-age population and the need for innovation in university education, we will do our utmost to generously support all faculty members, including new faculty, so that they can fully demonstrate their capabilities.”
