Kim Yong-ho Denies Charges in 1st and 2nd Trials
Entertainer Park Suhong's wife, Kim Daye, will appear as a witness at the third trial of YouTuber Kim Yongho, who has been indicted on charges including defamation. Park Suhong will be absent due to scheduling issues.
On the 20th, the third trial of Kim Yongho, who is accused of defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, attempted coercion, and insult, will be held at the Seoul Eastern District Court Criminal Division 6 (Presiding Judge Park Kangmin).
The defendant, Kim Yongho, is expected to attend the trial that day. Park Suhong will be absent due to scheduling conflicts, and Kim Daye will attend the trial as a witness.
On the 9th, Kim Daye shared her feelings on her social media (SNS) before appearing as a witness in court. She said, "As the victim, I am going to testify in court," adding, "Sensational fake news spreads explosively, but the long process victims go through to clear their names and grievances receives far less attention, which is regrettable."

Previously, Kim Yongho has been accused of spreading baseless rumors about Park Suhong, Kim Daye, and their pet cat Dahongie through YouTube channels 'Kim Yongho Entertainment Chief' and 'Garosero Research Institute' from April to August 2021.
In response, Park Suhong filed a complaint against Kim Yongho in August of the same year for defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, attempted coercion, and insult. The Seoul Songpa Police Station, which conducted the investigation, forwarded Kim Yongho to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment, and the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office sent Kim Yongho to trial without detention in October last year.
Kim Yongho denied the charges in both the first and second trials.
