The First Special Committee Formed Under Kim Gi-hyeon’s Party Leader System
Kim Gi-hyeon: "Role as a Problem Solver for Public Livelihood"

Jo Su-jin, a Supreme Council Member of the People Power Party, was appointed as the chairperson of the party's 'Special Committee on Livelihood Hope' (tentative name) on the 20th. This is the first special committee formed under the leadership of party leader Kim Ki-hyun, aiming to address livelihood issues.


After the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly that morning, Leader Kim told reporters, "It was decided today that Supreme Council Member Jo will take on the role of chairperson of the (Special Committee on Livelihood Hope)." He added, "Committee members will be selected to ensure sufficient diversity, considering regional representation, sectoral representation, and expertise."

Leader Kim continued, "The tentatively named Special Committee on Livelihood Hope will not be a one-time showy gesture but will be led to produce concrete results," explaining, "It will serve as a problem solver for livelihood issues."


Supreme Council Member Jo also emphasized during a meeting with reporters, "The most important focus of our politics should be livelihood, and especially the ruling party with responsibility must do so even more," adding, "I will strive to achieve visible results."


Furthermore, Supreme Council Member Jo stated, "We are currently working on personnel appointments to ensure that dynamic party members from each region and fresh experts who can convey voices from the field can participate in the Special Committee on Livelihood Hope," and said, "We plan to collaborate with various committees that have accompanied the underprivileged within the party so far and to expand their roles."
