Through this agreement, bhc Group will be able to provide consumers with safe and high-quality food products, and Hampyeong County will secure continuous distribution channels by stably supplying high-quality Hampyeong agricultural products.

bhc Group will distribute approximately 550 tons of onions produced in the Hampyeong region annually for the next five years. Of this, 200 tons will be used in Outback’s steak and pasta production and garnish, as well as garnish and lunch menus at Warehouse 43. Additionally, through collaboration with bhc Group’s partner company Haesung Food One, about 350 tons of onions will be used as raw materials for sauces at Outback and bhc Chicken.

Im Geum-ok, CEO of bhc Group, stated, “bhc Group will take the lead in expanding stable sales channels for our farmers by closely consulting with local governments, focusing on items that are used in large quantities annually among the ingredients consumed by our brands. We will build a model case of win-win cooperation between agriculture and business by providing customers with good food products made from our agricultural products beyond simple purchases.”

Lee Sang-ik, Mayor of Hampyeong County, said, “Through this agreement, we hope that Hampyeong’s excellent agricultural products will reach more consumers by securing various distribution channels. We also hope that not only onions but various agricultural products from Hampyeong County will be more widely utilized through win-win cooperation in the future.”
