35% Increase in Visitors Compared to Last Year
Day Pass Benefits Including 30,000 KRW Until Closing Day
Phoenix Pyeongchang Snow Park announced on the 20th that it will close its ski resort for the season on the 26th.
Phoenix Pyeongchang Snow Park opened on December 2nd last year, operating the longest season among domestic ski resorts. It plans to keep slopes of varying difficulty levels open until the end of the season, including the mogul slope, which is classified as the highest difficulty level. This season, the number of visitors increased by more than 35% compared to the previous year.
The most common feedback from users of Phoenix Pyeongchang Snow Park this season was that there was no waiting and it was not crowded, making skiing enjoyable. By scanning the mobile QR ticket once at the gate, visitors can use the facilities without additional checks or verification. Additionally, to ensure skiers can enjoy skiing in the best facilities and environment, the number of group visitors was limited to control the total number of guests.
Song Ho-young, General Manager of Phoenix Pyeongchang, said, "We have operated the season prioritizing comfort, safety, and high-quality food and beverage (F&B) services," adding, "We hope visitors experience the joy until the end of the season at Phoenix, which maintains excellent snow quality while operating the longest season among domestic ski resorts."
Meanwhile, Phoenix Pyeongchang Snow Park is offering a special last-season discount with day passes priced at 30,000 KRW, and equipment and clothing rentals available for 10,000 KRW each. Operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
