JW Group Signs Design Business Agreement with Disability Standard Workplace 'Greenjuui'

JW Group announced on the 20th that it has signed a design business agreement with the social enterprise Greenjuui as part of its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management activities to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Since its establishment in 2006, Greenjuui has been a first-generation social enterprise dedicated to solving environmental and social issues. It operates various businesses including procurement agency services for materials needed in corporate activities, design and printing, advertising and promotion, and interior construction work. In particular, as a certified standard workplace for people with disabilities, more than 30% of its regular employees are persons with disabilities, and its management goal is to provide quality jobs for vulnerable groups.


Under this agreement, Greenjuui will be responsible for the design and printing of promotional materials for products sold by JW Group companies such as JW Holdings, JW Pharmaceutical, JW Shinyak, JW Life Science, and JW Medical. Additionally, JW Group plans to collaborate with Greenjuui to apply eco-friendly paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to various design productions.


A JW Group official stated, "JW Group is carrying out various social contribution activities to promote the economic independence and social participation of people with disabilities," adding, "We will continue to expand the scope of ESG management to realize the social value of the company."


Meanwhile, JW Group is also engaged in various patronage activities to help people with disabilities demonstrate their artistic abilities and grow as proud members of society. Furthermore, JW Pharmaceutical and JW Life Science established Saengmyeongnuri, a subsidiary-type standard workplace for people with disabilities, in 2020?the first of its kind among domestic pharmaceutical companies?and have been leading employment creation by hiring a total of 18 people with developmental disabilities as regular employees to date.
