Upstage Launches Beta Service of 'AskUp Biz'

Upstage announced on the 20th that it has launched the beta service of 'AskUp Biz,' the business version of its artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot service 'AskUp.'

AskUp is an AI chatbot service that combines OpenAI's next-generation language model GPT-4 with Upstage's optical character recognition (OCR) technology. AskUp started its service as a channel friend on the KakaoTalk channel on the 5th and has attracted over 250,000 users. AskUp Biz is a service that innovatively supports various business processes.

Targeting all domestic and international companies, Upstage's AskUp Biz consists of three components: AskUp Doc, which allows users to read various internal documents and obtain information through chat AI; AskUp Web, which reads website information and provides information to website visitors via chat AI; and AskUp Slack, which can be used within the business tool Slack.

AskUp Doc is web-based and facilitates convenient searching of internal documents and information, helping customers obtain necessary information without having to read lengthy documents themselves.

AskUp Web is a solution that easily integrates the AskUp chatbot into a company's website or brand homepage. Customers can easily obtain information about the company and products through chat AI without having to read detailed information on long web pages. It supports Q&A reflecting all information on the company’s homepage as well as Google search results.

AskUp Slack integrates with the business messenger Slack, enabling search, inquiries, brainstorming, and more within a single tool. Unlike ChatGPT, which only allowed one-on-one conversations, AskUp Slack can be used in groups and channels as well.
