On the 19th, Leishman shot a 5-under-par 66 in the second round held at The Gallery Golf Club (par 71) in Marana, Arizona, USA, recording 1 eagle, 4 birdies, and 1 bogey. His two-day total score was 11-under-par 131. He stands alone in first place, two strokes ahead of Sergio Garcia (Spain), who is in second place.

The winner of the individual competition in this tournament will receive a prize of $4 million (approximately 5.2 billion KRW). Previously, Leishman had won six times on the PGA Tour and moved to the LIV Series last year. His best result since the transfer was 13th place at the Thailand event. Before joining the PGA Tour, he played on the Korean Professional Golf (KPGA) Korean Tour under the registered name 'Mark Reshiman' and won the 2006 Jisan Resort Open.

Meanwhile, Louis Oosthuizen (South Africa) and Charles Howell III (USA), the winner of this year's LIV Golf opening event, along with two others, are tied for third place at 8-under-par 134.
