Seocho-gu Operates Employment Consulting Providing Professional Consultants for Resume and 1:1 Interview Coaching to Over 110 Job Seekers
Operated three times a week from April 3 to October 25, increasing individual consulting sessions from once last year to up to three times, allowing selection between personalized resume consulting and 1:1 interview consulting, each session lasting 60 minutes
Seocho-gu (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) will operate a ‘1:1 Employment Consulting’ program starting next month, offering resume editing and 1:1 interview coaching to young people preparing for employment.
Since 2020, the ‘1:1 Employment Consulting’ program has provided customized consulting tailored to individual job roles and industries by employment experts to young job seekers, gaining popularity with early full enrollment every year.
This year, the district increased the number of individual consulting sessions compared to last year. The number of sessions, previously limited to one, can now be up to three based on individual preference. Additionally, participants can attend on their desired dates according to their personal employment preparation schedules.
The consulting is divided into a ‘Resume Class’ and a ‘1:1 Interview Preparation Class,’ and applicants choose one to receive about one hour of consulting per person.
First, the ‘Resume Consulting’ teaches how to write resumes using storyboards that determine employment success, introduces effective employment strategies and company approach tactics based on real cases, and provides 1:1 editing of applicants’ resumes with detailed feedback and guidance on each section.
Also, the ‘1:1 Interview Consulting’ helps reduce the burden on job-seeking youth with effective interview strategies. It analyzes expected self-introduction questions and interview types by field and company, providing personalized consulting. Additionally, it offers tailored strategies including ▲checklists to follow during interviews ▲methods to create a favorable interview image and appeal charm.
The education schedule runs every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from April 3 to October 25.
Applicants must be young people aged 19 to 39, and can apply by filling out the Google Form linked in the announcements on the Seocho-gu Office website. Applications open every Friday at 2 PM for programs available in two-week blocks by day and time.
Jeon Seong-su, Mayor of Seocho-gu, said, “We will continue to provide solid employment preparation programs such as ‘1:1 Employment Consulting’ to job seekers, striving to make Seocho-gu a reliable stepping stone toward their employment.”
