From March 1 to 31, Seongbuk-gu is planting beautiful spring flowers and sowing flower seeds throughout the district. The flowers being planted include over 40,000 plants of 11 representative spring flower species such as pansies, violas, and daisies.

The planting area covers 325㎡, focusing on spaces with heavy pedestrian traffic such as Seokgye Station, Hansung University Entrance Station, and Baram Madang in front of Seongbuk-gu Office. A Seongbuk-gu official stated, “We carefully selected the spring flower planting locations so that citizens can unexpectedly feel the arrival of spring and the leisure of daily life while waiting at crosswalk signals, running errands, or taking a short break.”
