In the fourth week of this month (March), Samsung FN REIT will conduct a demand forecast targeting institutional investors. LB Investment and GI Innovation are preparing for general subscription.
◆Samsung FN REIT= Samsung FN REIT (Samsung FN Trustee Management Real Estate Investment Company) is the first publicly offered REIT listed by the Samsung Group, with direct participation from four companies under Samsung Financial Networks (Samsung Life Insurance, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Samsung SRA Asset Management, Samsung Securities). It has built a core asset portfolio based on prime office assets located in key domestic business districts, including ‘Daechi Tower’ and ‘S1 Building’.
Samsung FN REIT plans to raise a total of 118.9 billion KRW through this listing. The public offering price is 5,000 KRW, and the number of shares offered is 23.78 million. Demand forecasting will be conducted on the 20th and 21st, followed by subscription on the 27th and 28th. It is scheduled to be listed on the KOSPI market in April. The joint lead managers are Samsung Securities and Korea Investment & Securities, with NH Investment & Securities and KB Securities as joint managers.
◆LB Investment= The public offering price was fixed at the top of the desired band at 5,100 KRW. A total of 1,417 domestic and foreign institutions participated in the demand forecast, recording a competition rate of 1,298 to 1. The total public offering amount is 23.6 billion KRW, and the market capitalization after listing is about 118.4 billion KRW. General subscription will be accepted on the 20th and 21st. The listing underwriter is Mirae Asset Securities.
LB Investment is the successor of LG Startup Investment and changed its name to LB Investment in 2008 following a spin-off. Over 27 years, it has invested in about 540 promising domestic and international companies, with a cumulative investment scale reaching 1.7 trillion KRW. Recently, it successfully raised a fund of approximately 240 billion KRW, increasing the company’s assets under management (AUM) to about 1.2 trillion KRW.
◆GI Innovation= The total number of shares offered is 2 million, with a desired public offering price band of 16,000 to 21,000 KRW. Demand forecasting was conducted on the 15th and 16th, and general public subscription is scheduled for the 21st and 22nd. The lead underwriters are NH Investment & Securities and Hana Securities, with Samsung Securities as joint underwriter.
GI Innovation is a bio-venture company researching and developing next-generation immunotherapies based on fusion proteins, focusing on immune oncology and immune disease treatments. To date, it has completed two technology transfers worth 2.3 trillion KRW to pharmaceutical companies such as Korea’s Yuhan Corporation and China’s Simcere.
