Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province, continues to see a stream of hometown love donations from members of the Jaebusan Haman Hometown Association and others who cherish their hometown.
On the 16th, at the Haman-gun Office of the County Governor, Lee Gyuntae, president of the Jaebusan Haman Hometown Association, along with advisors Lee Geuncheol and Jo Changje, and external cooperation chairman Jo Yullae, each donated 5 million won, the highest amount under the Hometown Love Donation Program.
Lee Gyuntae, president of the Jaebusan Hometown Association, said, “I hope that the voluntary donations from hometown members who love Haman will continue so that the Hometown Love Donation Program can be successfully established, and I will wholeheartedly support the further development of my hometown, Haman.”
Meanwhile, in the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Lee Junsu of Taehyun Construction visited the county office and donated 3 million won as a hometown love donation.
Mr. Lee Junsu said, “While running a construction business with my parents in Haman, I wanted to contribute even a small part to the development of my hometown, Haman-gun, so I made this donation.”
County Governor Jo Geunje expressed gratitude, saying, “We thank the Jaebusan Haman Hometown Association and Mr. Lee Junsu for their unwavering affection for their hometown. The donated funds will be used valuably to support socially vulnerable groups, nurture and protect youth, and enhance the culture, arts, and health of local residents, thereby improving the welfare of the citizens and revitalizing the local economy to make Haman a better place to live and foster the growth of our hometown.”
