Incheon Airport Duty-Free Business Rights Selection... "Shinsegae, Hotel Shilla, etc."

Incheon International Airport Corporation (President Kim Kyung-wook) completed the price opening for the ongoing bidding to select operators for the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 duty-free business rights on the 17th, and selected multiple operators for each business right based on the combined scores of the business proposal evaluation results.

According to the comprehensive evaluation results, for DF1, 2-2022, which handles perfumes, cosmetics, liquor, and tobacco, Shinsegae DF and Hotel Shilla were selected. For the DF3, 4-2022 business rights, which handle fashion and boutiques, Shinsegae DF and Hotel Shilla were selected, and for the boutique-exclusive DF5-2022 business right, Shinsegae DF, Hyundai Department Store Duty Free, and Hotel Shilla are expected to be notified as candidates for evaluation.

For the small and medium-sized enterprise business rights DF8, 9-2022, Gyeongbokgung Duty Free and City Plus will be notified as candidates for evaluation.

The Korea Customs Service will conduct a license review for the selected operators and notify the final operators to the airport corporation.

On the 22nd, when the number of daily passengers at Incheon Airport exceeded 120,000 for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, the duty-free area of Terminal 1 at Incheon Airport was crowded with travelers.
