Lee Jun-seok Meets Supporters and Launches Blog... Begins Extra-Parliamentary Politics

Publishing 'An Irresistible Future' and Starting Full Communication
Cheon Ayongin Candidates to Post Sequentially
Platform Also Established as a Channel to Hear Party Members' Opinions

Former People Power Party leader Lee Jun-seok is intensifying his political activities outside the party. Lee recently published a book and is planning to meet readers, while also intending to engage with party members through his blog. His successive moves are interpreted as efforts to lay the groundwork for a political comeback after the 'Cheon-A-Yong-In (Cheon Ha-ram, Heo Eun-a, Kim Yong-tae, Lee Gi-in)' candidates all failed to enter the party leadership, narrowing his influence within the party.

On the 17th, Lee posted on his Facebook, "I plan to post articles sequentially with the Cheon-A-Yong-In candidates," adding, "I hope this space will go beyond answering someone's questions on broadcasts and become a place where various concerns of the Republic of Korea are addressed with pure personal thoughts."

He continued, "The name 'High Altitude March' was coined by Representative Heo Eun-a, meaning sincere people who think, study, and act," and added, "I welcome all advice and critiques regarding design or composition."

Representative Heo also posted on her Facebook the same day, saying, "Let's march at high altitude together!" and attached Lee's post. However, the site is currently difficult to access due to overload.

Lee is also planning to meet readers after releasing his book, The Irresistible Future. Starting with visits to Suwon and Hwaseong on the 18th, he plans to visit Seongnam and Yongin on the 19th, and Ansan, Uiwang, Gunpo, and Siheung on the 25th and 26th.

On the 15th, he wrote on Facebook, "Many people who have read the book have contacted me via email, so I plan to meet offline," adding, "Since there will be many conversations about the book's content, it would be helpful to read the book beforehand."

Additionally, Lee plans to create a platform to communicate with party members and others. It is known that his team has been preparing this for a long time. It is said to be somewhat differentiated from Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo's 'Youth Dream.'

Although the Cheon-A-Yong-In candidates failed to enter the leadership, Lee has expressed his intention to continue active communication outside the party. His party membership suspension period lasts until January next year, three months before the general election.
