The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will operate public bicycle rental stations at Gwanggyosan Mountain and Hwaseong Haenggung Square from the 18th of this month until November 30.
The public bicycle rental stations will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The station at Hwaseong Haenggung Square operates daily, while the two stations at Gwanggyosan (at the bus terminal and next to the Firefly Rest Area) are available on Saturdays and Sundays.
There is a break time from noon to 1 p.m., and the stations are closed on public holidays except Sundays.
Anyone can use the service, and the fee is 1,000 won per day for one rental. Users must present an ID or verify their identity.
A city official stated, "As daily life recovers, we expect more citizens to use the public bicycles," adding, "We hope many citizens will use bicycles and practice carbon neutrality together."
