Discussion Forum on Pre-Reservation Results of Godeok Gangil 3rd Complex Attracting 20,000 People Held

A session will be held to analyze the pre-registration results of Godeok Gangil 3 Complex, the first land lease-type sale housing under the Yoon Suk-yeol administration, and to explore ways to revitalize the supply of land lease-type sale housing in the future.

Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation), Congressman Lee Jong-bae (People Power Party, Industry, Trade, Small and Medium Business Committee), the Korea Council of Governors, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 17th that they will hold a "Discussion Forum on Revitalizing Land Lease-Type Sale Housing" at 10 a.m. on the 20th in Seminar Room 1 of the National Assembly Members' Office Building.

The pre-registration for land lease-type sale housing in Godeok Gangil 3 Complex is the first supply in the Seoul area under the Yoon Suk-yeol administration's public housing brand New:Home (Sharing Type). This discussion forum was organized to analyze the pre-registration results and to seek ways to further revitalize land lease-type sale housing.

The forum will begin with a presentation by Cheon Seong-hee, Director of SH Urban Research Institute, on "Implications from Cases of Building Sale (Land Lease-Type) Housing Supply," followed by a discussion involving five participants including real estate experts and government officials. The session will be chaired by Professor Ban Young-woon of Chungbuk National University, with panelists including Song Seung-hyun, CEO of City and Economy; Lee Jae-soo, Professor at Kangwon National University (Chairman of the Land Use Research Committee of the Korean Association of Land and Urban Planning); Jo Jeong-heun, Chair of the Land and Housing Committee of the Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice; Jeong Jong-dae, Director of the Seoul Housing Policy Support Center; and Na Min-hee, Housing Supply Planning Team Leader at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Kim Heon-dong, President of SH Corporation, stated, "As a government and Seoul city policy, we plan to contribute to stabilizing housing prices by supplying more land lease-type sale housing in better locations, and to serve as a housing ladder for young people and homeless citizens dreaming of owning a home."
