"JMS No.2 Jeong Joeun Has 170 Million Won Only on Her Wrist" Where Did the Money Come From?

Resurfaced Allegations of Expensive Luxury Goods Wearing and Hoarding
"Envelopes with Meeting Fees and Donations on the Desk"
Amid Internal Controversy, Mr. Jeong Says "They're All Fakes"

Jung Joeun, known as the 'successor' or 'power figure' of Jeong Myeong-seok of the Christian Gospel Mission (JMS), is once again being spotlighted for having worn expensive luxury goods.

In January, a 'luxury brand list' of Jung Joeun, which was posted on the JMS victims' group cafe 'Canaan (Leaving JMS for Jesus's embrace),' was recently reposted on online communities and is spreading again.

Jung Joeun, the second-in-command of JMS, is suspected of being involved in Jeong Myeong-seok's sexual exploitation.

A cafe member, Mr. A, who originally wrote the post, said, "At the end of last year, there was an anonymous YouTuber who exposed Jung Joeun's corruption but has since disappeared. They raised suspicions along with evidence of Jung Joeun's large-scale assets under false names, luxury goods, and slush funds, which drew significant attention in the cafe. I captured the most straightforward photos related to luxury goods," and revealed the products Jung Joeun has worn over time.

According to the list, Jung has regularly worn luxury clothes, watches, and bags worth millions to tens of millions of Korean won from brands such as Cartier, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Miu Miu, and Burberry. The Van Cleef & Arpels watch alone is valued at a staggering 168 million won.

The author stated the source of Jung Joeun's funds as "countless money envelopes collected from churches nationwide piling up on the desk on birthdays, consultation fees ranging from 2 to 10 million won that must be prepared for personal meetings, unaccounted money envelopes coming from overseas, and large sponsorship funds for events."

Mr. A added, "I hope this helps people break free from the foolish notion that Jung Joeun's extravagance or flamboyance is an exception and realize the truth."

Jung Joeun is presumed to have acknowledged the controversy at the time and explained that the items she wore were 'counterfeits.'

The post received comments such as, "I heard she explained that they were fakes and made by tearing fabric, but do you want to live like that?" and "I met someone still in JMS who said Pastor Jung Joeun explained everything as fake, and they believed it."

After the Netflix documentary I Am a God exposed President Jeong's sexual assault crimes, Jung Joeun claimed during a worship service on the 12th that she prevented female believers from approaching President Jeong.

However, victims refuted this, stating that the person who took them to President Jeong's room was Jung Joeun's closest aide, and that Jung Joeun must have been aware of the sexual assault as well.
