Pusan National University Cancels Medical School Admission from Last April
About 30 Citizens Hold Rally Supporting Cho Min in Front of Main Gate
Cho Min, daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, appeared as a witness on the 16th for a trial related to the cancellation of her admission to the Pusan National University School of Medicine (Medical Graduate School).
Cho appeared in court for the plaintiff's witness examination during the hearing held in the afternoon at the Busan District Court Administrative Division 1 (Presiding Judge Geum Deok-hee).
About an hour before the trial began, Cho appeared in the hallway in front of the courtroom but did not answer reporters' questions and entered the witness and lawyer waiting room.

Cho is expected to express her position regarding Pusan National University's cancellation of her admission to the Medical Graduate School during the court session. Questions about her awareness of the forged Dongyang University certificate are also anticipated during the examination.
On the same day, about 30 citizens gathered in front of the main gate of the Busan District Court to hold a rally supporting Cho. They held placards reading "Admitted by ability, not by certificate" and "Stop political decisions," voicing their support for Cho.
Earlier in April, Pusan National University canceled Cho's admission to the Medical Graduate School. In response, Cho's side filed a lawsuit against Pusan National University to revoke the cancellation and also submitted a provisional injunction request to suspend the effect of the cancellation.
