Ulleung-gun Accelerates Efforts to Improve Civil Complaint Services

Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk, welcomed the new spring by having all civil service office employees wear neat uniforms and engage in civil administrative services.

Employees at the Ulleung County Office Civil Service Room are wearing standardized, neat uniforms while assisting civil petitioners.

To improve civil service, the unified uniforms and name tags are intended to instill a sense of responsibility and belonging, and to provide residents visiting the civil service office with comfort and a gentle image, thereby enhancing trust in administration.

They pledged to break away from the rigid image of government offices and provide civil services that communicate and empathize with a pleasant environment and friendly smiles.

Nam Han-kwon, the county governor, stated, “We will make multifaceted efforts to improve the quality of civil services, including operating civil service guides and requiring all public officials to wear name tags.”
