The film 'Soulmate' has been sold to 18 countries overseas, distributor NEW announced on the 16th.
According to the distributor, 'Soulmate' has been sold to 18 countries including the United States, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore. It is scheduled to be released in Indonesia on the 22nd, Hong Kong on the 23rd, and the United States and Vietnam on the 24th.
A representative from the Hong Kong distributor said, "The era depicted in 'Soulmate,' filled with laughter, tears, and friendship, is the time we all experienced," adding, "This beautifully crafted work must be seen in theaters this spring."
Additionally, a representative from the Vietnam distributor said, "With excellent casting, this is a film you must watch this spring," and a representative from the Taiwan distributor commented, "It is one of the must-watch Korean films of the year."
'Soulmate' is a film adapted by director Min Yong-geun from the popular Chinese film 'So Long, My Son' (2017), starring actors Kim Da-mi, Jeon So-ni, and Byun Woo-seok. It was released domestically on the 15th, attracting 20,240 viewers on its opening day.
