A netizen who pretended to give away items for free while roaming used goods trading communities has been permanently banned by a company and left a review, sparking controversy.

Recently, a post titled "Permanently banned for messing around with free giveaways in used goods trading" was uploaded on an online community. Along with it, a screenshot of a message received from Company B was posted.

The captured message stated, "It has been confirmed that you intentionally broke promises by deceiving many users with repetitive giveaway posts, resulting in a suspension by the automatic system. This sanction cannot be lifted within the period."

The author wrote, "It was really fun while messing around," listing the scams they committed against about 20 people.

They continued, "I told people to come to Hannam Station Exit 1 and went there myself to exercise. Then, when I told those who came for the free giveaway that it was a lie and ran away, there were people crying, angry people, people chasing me, and people cursing?every kind of person," adding, "It made the boring month of February enjoyable."

They also said, "Someone who came from Chungbuk said they drove (to Seoul), but they cried and screamed loudly," explaining, "At first, I was suspended for not keeping a promise for about three days, and as soon as it was lifted, I lied about free giveaways and messed around for a week before being permanently banned."

Additionally, they said, "After being banned by Company B, I moved to used goods trading Company C," adding, "I played pranks about 10 times there, and the administrator hid my posts. Then I tried again at another Company D and was suspended for 30 days after three attempts."

They further stated, "Try it once. You have to run away while escaping, so you get exercise, your heart races, and it’s thrilling?you can’t stop once you start. You run faster because you feel like you might get hit if caught," criticizing, "Would a normal person believe a free giveaway post on their phone and come? This is the result of a beggar’s mentality," which has caused public outrage.

As the story spread, netizens mostly criticized the author with comments like, "How low must your life be to find joy in something like that," "The one who deceived is at fault, not the one who was deceived," and "Seems mentally unstable."
