Dongseo University International College Holds Orientation Ceremony for International Students

Dongseo University International College recently held the 2023 Spring Semester Foreign Student Orientation Ceremony at Sohyang Art Hall.

About 450 international and Korean students belonging to the International College and 47 students from the Shanghai University of Engineering Science joint education program attended the orientation to welcome new international students and celebrate the start of the semester.

Fifty-six students and faculty members from the Design Department of Petra Christian University in Indonesia, a sister university of Dongseo University, also participated in the event. They took part in a major experience program and a joint field trip after the ceremony.

During the orientation, a video introducing the International College departments was screened, followed by introductions of the faculty, participating students, and greetings from international students.

Kim Hee-kyung, Dean of the International College, said in her congratulatory remarks, “I hope that your life at Dongseo University will become an important milestone in your future life, and I will teach with all my passion and sincerity.”
