Promotion of 46 Club Booths at Baekgyeong Square on the 14th
On the 14th, Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-su) held the ‘Myohae, Clubs: Club Introduction Festival’ event at Baekgyeong Square.
The event, organized by the Pukyong National University General Club Association (President Han Soo-hyun), was held to provide opportunities for the 2023 freshmen and current students to experience and join club activities.
This year’s Club Introduction Festival was held face-to-face outdoors for the first time in four years since 2019. On this day, among the 70 clubs in categories such as ▲performance ▲volunteering ▲sports ▲religion ▲hobbies and culture ▲academics, 46 clubs set up booths at Baekgyeong Square to promote their clubs.
Students, including freshmen participating in the event, visited each club booth and experienced the clubs through explanations and demonstrations by senior members.
Among the participating clubs, 11 band and dance clubs performed songs and dances on the stage set up at Baekgyeong Square. The Pukyong National University General Club Association also held events such as quizzes, games, and prize draws alongside the club introduction booths to help students create memorable experiences.
Han Soo-hyun, president of the General Club Association (senior majoring in Materials Engineering), said, “After spending semesters online, I hope this event, held outdoors for the first time in a long while, will be a meaningful starting point for freshmen and other students to begin an enjoyable university life.”
