Yeongam-gun Selected as an Outstanding City/County in the Hope Sharing Campaign

Raised 406 Million Won... 108% Increase Compared to Previous Year

Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do was selected as an outstanding city/county in the 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign' and received a plaque of appreciation from the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea on the 13th.

According to the county on the 14th, the Hope Sharing Campaign was conducted for two months from December 1st last year to January 31st under the slogan "Sharing Together, Sustainable Future."

Despite difficult circumstances such as the economic downturn, the county's residents, including local businesses, social organizations, and public officials, participated with one heart and raised 406 million won, achieving a high performance of 108% compared to the previous year.

County Governor Woo Seung-hee expressed, "I extend my respect to the residents who gathered their precious hearts for neighbors in need," and added, "I hope everyone will continue to work together to create a Yeongam where we live in harmony."

The collected donations will be used for various projects to improve residents' welfare, such as supporting the spread of a sharing culture and emergency support projects, through the Community Chest of Korea.
