'Smart Care' is a project that establishes a 24-hour care system through an integrated platform for safety management such as fire, accidents, and crime prevention, as well as health management, in dementia patient households within the Dementia Safe Village in Namwon City. Since being selected for the Ministry of Health and Welfare's public contest project last year, the 'Smart Care' system has been established in about 100 households with solitary dementia patients and couples with dementia, and there are plans to gradually expand the target group.
Skylife supports 20 'Love Antennas' for dementia patient households to help dementia patients enjoy a safe cultural life through TV. The 'Love Antenna' is Skylife's representative social contribution project that provides UHD TVs and lifetime free satellite broadcasting viewing rights to vulnerable households or welfare facilities to bridge the cultural gap for media-disadvantaged groups who have difficulty watching TV. Since 2015, Skylife has supported approximately 1,290 locations and has been striving to guarantee universal media viewing rights.
