Musinsa Opens 5th 'Musinsa Studio' in Sindang-dong... "Clothing Production Hub"

Musinsa announced on the 14th that it will open the fifth branch of its fashion-specialized shared office, 'Musinsa Studio,' in Sindang-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, next month.

The Musinsa Studio Sindang branch, which will open on the 3rd of next month, is located in an area densely populated with clothing manufacturing factories. Sindang-dong, considered one of the key hubs of the domestic fashion industry, was chosen due to the high demand for workspace from clothing production businesses, ranging from pattern making, accessory and label production to clothing wholesale operations.

Musinsa plans to operate the newly opened Sindang branch, along with the Dongdaemun branch near the Dongdaemun General Market, as optimized workspaces for businesses engaged in clothing production, design, and wholesale. Since its operation began in 2018, about 80% of the tenants at Musinsa Studio Dongdaemun have been fashion-related companies.

The Sindang branch is located in a six-story building just a 3-minute walk from Cheonggu Station. The total area is approximately 990 pyeong, with workspaces ranging from 3-person rooms to 28-person rooms. When renting by floor, it can accommodate up to around 160 people per tenant. There are also facilities for tenants who frequently conduct product photography. Seven studios of various sizes and purposes are operated, including a 50-pyeong natural light studio and an outdoor rooftop space suitable for photography. To help tenants reduce operating costs, both the photography facilities and equipment rentals are provided free of charge.

In addition, Musinsa Studio offers services and infrastructure specialized for the fashion business. Workrooms equipped with clothing inspection and pattern work tables are provided to enable garment production tasks, and support is offered to use courier services at affordable rates. Mentoring, educational programs, and networking events for tenants will also be held to support practical business operations.
