'The 23rd WorkSmart Forum' Held
On the 14th, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that it will hold the 23rd Work Smart Forum at the Government Sejong Complex under the theme "Agile Innovation, Organizational Success Strategy."
About 70 government innovation officers from central government ministries, local governments, and public institutions will attend this forum, with presentations from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Danggeun Market, Toss, and Woori Bank.
Danggeun Market will introduce the "Agile Development Culture" that has been the driving force behind its growth and present the company's "horizontal culture" centered on openness, sharing, autonomy, and responsibility. Viva Republica, which operates Toss, will present on agile service development that can immediately reflect customer demands. Woori Bank, which has a large organizational scale similar to the government, will present on rapid decision-making that responds to external environmental changes through agile organizational management. The Ministry of the Interior and Safety emphasizes the necessity of implementing an agile and flexible government in a rapidly changing administrative environment.
Following the presentations, during the discussion session, participants shared difficulties experienced in promoting agile innovation and the solutions they found, and discussed strategies for success.
Seo Juhyun, Director of Government Innovation Planning at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, said, "We expect agile innovation to improve government work efficiency and problem-solving capabilities," adding, "We will strive to innovate into a more agile and flexible government by utilizing the cases and experiences discussed at this forum."
