15 Representatives from City and National Civic Groups Attend

Key to Hosting: Cooperation in Spreading Citizen Enthusiasm and Promotional Activities

On the 14th at 2:30 PM, Busan City will hold a business agreement ceremony in the lobby on the 2nd floor of City Hall with three national movement organizations, 11 unions affiliated with the Busan City Transportation and Maintenance Organizations Council, to promote and strengthen cooperation for creating a boom in attracting the 2030 Busan World Expo.

Representatives from 15 organizations are expected to attend today's business agreement ceremony, including ▲Busan City ▲Busan Saemaeul Association ▲Korea Freedom Federation Busan Branch ▲Busan Council for the Movement for Right Living ▲Busan City Bus Transportation Business Union ▲Busan City Village Bus Transportation Business Union ▲Busan City Charter Bus Business Union ▲Busan City Private Taxi Transportation Business Union ▲Busan City Taxi Transportation Business Union ▲Busan City Freight Truck Transportation Business Association ▲Busan City Private Courier Freight Truck Transportation Business Association ▲Busan City Private (Individual) Freight Transportation Business Association ▲Busan City Car Rental Business Union ▲Busan City Automobile Sales Business Union ▲Busan City Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Business Union.


The organizations and unions participating in this business agreement will actively cooperate in promotional activities to attract the 2030 Busan World Expo, including campaigns to attach vehicle promotional stickers to create a boom in attracting the World Expo.


The city stated that this business agreement is expected to serve as an opportunity to spread enthusiasm for attracting the 2030 Busan World Expo and to actively convey the will and passion of Busan citizens to the International Bureau of Expositions (BIE) inspection team during their visit to Busan from April 4 to April 7.


Mayor Park Hyung-jun expressed gratitude to the representatives of the participating organizations, saying, “For attracting the 2030 World Expo to Busan, broad civic participation and interest are most important,” and added, “We have gained strong supporters through the participation of organizations that communicate directly with citizens on the front lines.”


After signing the business agreement on the day, Mayor Park and attendees will move to the main gate plaza of City Hall to hold side events together with about 200 citizens, including a performance wishing for the success of the World Expo attraction and a vehicle sticker attachment performance.
